The Atlas Bleu builds on that ethos with even greater precision. Launched under JBW’s RESERVE program, Atlas Bleu features a 34mm case wrapped in deep blue ion plating and covered in 514 hand-set, sapphire-toned crystals. From the dial to the bezel to the bracelet, every surface reflects light from a new angle. Each stone is placed by hand, requiring intense focus and patience-a process that’s as much about craft as it is expression. The result is a timepiece that captivates at first glance, holding its ground through sheer detail and confidence.
To introduce the piece, JBW partnered with Angel White, a Texas-born recording artist whose debut album Ghost of the West is reshaping the sound of country, soul, and folk. Angel’s voice is unmistakable, gravel and grace in equal parts, but it’s his story that resonates. Raised in a lineage of gospel singers and working-class grit, he discovered a hidden bloodline of Black cowboys, men who helped shape the American West but were written out of its myths.
Angel’s path is one of reclamation. For much of his life, he thought he understood his roots, until he had to rebuild them from scratch. That experience of rediscovery, of turning personal history into power, is part of what makes his connection to the Atlas Bleu feel inevitable. This isn’t a watch made to disappear into an outfit.
